This Privacy Policy explains how Combat Matrix Inc. ("Combat Matrix," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Combat Matrix websites, applications, services, and related features.
Combat Matrix was established in 2021. Combat Matrix Inc. operates the Combat Matrix platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of Combat Matrix, and limited information supplied by service providers that help operate the platform.
Account and profile information. This may include your email address, display name, username, profile image, account preferences, onboarding information, gym affiliations, and account roles.
Google sign-in information. If you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information authorized by you, such as your Google account identifier, name, profile information, and email address.
Gym and community activity. We may process information about gym memberships, gym roles, follows, subscriptions, posts, comments, messages, notifications, reports, invitations, shares, referrals, and other interactions on Combat Matrix.
Content and media. We process content you upload or send through Combat Matrix, including text, images, videos, previews, profile images, gym media, and other files.
Purchases and subscriptions. We process information relating to subscriptions, paid content, refunds, payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, and related purchase history. Payment-card information is generally processed by our payment processor rather than stored directly by Combat Matrix.
Technical and security information. We and our service providers may process browser, device, session, cookie, network, IP-address, security, rate-limit, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the platform.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts.
- Provide gym memberships, subscriptions, posts, and messaging.
- Process purchases and paid-content access.
- Deliver notifications and account-related emails.
- Preserve invitation, sharing, referral, and onboarding flows.
- Provide gym owners and authorized administrators with relevant referral and performance analytics.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Combat Matrix.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Sharing and Referral Analytics
Combat Matrix allows users associated with gyms to share gym and post links. When an attributed gym link is used, Combat Matrix may record events such as creation of a share link, a completed share, a link click, signup, and gym membership resulting from the referral.
Referral analytics may associate the referring user, gym, referred account, conversion activity, and eligible purchases. Combat Matrix does not need to store the raw referral token in its analytics tables to provide these reports.
4. Payments
Combat Matrix uses third-party payment services, including Stripe, to process eligible purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and related payment activity.
Payment processors may collect information directly from you under their own privacy policies. Combat Matrix may receive transaction status, amounts, payment identifiers, refund information, and other information necessary to provide purchased services and maintain financial records.
5. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate Combat Matrix. Depending on the feature you use, these may include providers for authentication, databases, hosting, payments, video hosting, email delivery, anti-abuse protection, analytics, and infrastructure.
These providers may include services such as Supabase, Stripe, Google, Vimeo, Amazon SES or other SMTP providers, Cloudflare, and hosting or infrastructure providers used by Combat Matrix.
We provide service providers only with information reasonably needed for them to perform services on our behalf or as otherwise permitted by law.
6. Messages and User Content
Content you intentionally publish may be visible to other users or the public depending on the feature, audience, and access settings selected for that content.
Direct messages and paid content are intended for the participants and authorized platform or gym personnel where necessary to provide, secure, moderate, support, or administer the service.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
Combat Matrix may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session management, user preferences, installation state, referral continuity, security, and other platform functionality.
Disabling browser storage or cookies may prevent some Combat Matrix features from working correctly.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Combat Matrix, maintain accounts, complete transactions, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods. Some records associated with an account may be removed when the underlying account is deleted, while financial, legal, security, or other records may be retained when required or permitted by law.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Combat Matrix and user information. These safeguards may include authentication controls, anti-abuse services, access controls, encryption provided by infrastructure services, monitoring, and rate limiting.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, and account access.
10. International Processing
Combat Matrix and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate protections for international processing and transfers.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, applicable law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or other action relating to personal information.
You may also update certain account and profile information directly through Combat Matrix.

12. Children and Younger Users
Combat Matrix is intended to be used only by people who are legally permitted to use the service in their jurisdiction. Where applicable, younger users must have any consent or involvement required from a parent or legal guardian.
Gyms and account holders are responsible for complying with laws that apply to their interactions with minors.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Combat Matrix changes. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and provide additional notice when required by law.
